Miranda Kane grew up with her father in a small town in Dorset. She studied Drama and Media at college and trained in theatre and television production before moving to London where it all went a bit wrong.
Unsatisfied with the opportunities she was given in the media world, she ended up becoming a high class Sex Worker with an unusual USP – at 25 stone she was the largest Working Girl in the UK.
After 7 years, she retired in 2012 to become a Comedian, and now tells her story in the 5 star show ‘The Coin-Operated Girl’. She also gigs on the comedy scene and has already amassed a few accolades. In 2012, she was on the Funny Women ‘One To Watch’ list, and a semi-finalist in Edinburgh’s ‘So You Think You’re Funny’. She also won the Cheltenham New Act of the Year, 2014.
She now tries to highlight Sex Worker Rights, and also runs events for the Size Acceptance movement.
