Lucy Strange

Lucy Strange is a 36-year-old British teacher and writer, currently living in Dubai with her husband and their two cats. After studying English Literature at Sheffield University, Lucy trained at the Oxford School of Drama and worked as an actor, singer and storyteller for some years before becoming an English and Drama teacher. On moving to Dubai, Lucy launched the award-winning blog Homesick and Heatstruck and worked as a freelance writer for the UAE women’s magazine, Aquarius. Her debut novel, The Secret of Nightingale Wood, won the runner-up prize in the Montegrappa First Fiction Competition at the 2014 Emirates Airline Festival of Literature and is published by Chicken House.
