Dee MacDonald

Since leaving Scotland fifty-seven years ago, Dee has typed her way around London, flown as a stewardess on long-haul routes for eight years with BOAC (now BA), done market research for the government, BA and Gallup, been a sales representative, been the receptionist at Thames Television Studios (when they had the franchise), and spent ten years dishing out B&Bs in Cornwall, where she now lives with her husband.

Dee wrote – and illustrated – her first book somewhere around the age of six (and then sewed the pages together neatly down the side), but then life got in the way and she didn’t pick up that pen again until retirement and, after having some short stuff published, decided she had to write The Book.
